Like a butterfly emerging into life, a child requires nurturance, safety, and care. I believe in supporting child and adolescent emotional growth and developmental processes throughout the life cycle particulary when hardships are faced, such as, trauma, divorce, bullying, and other concerns. My approach is collaborative as I work closely with the parents, schools, and other collaterals involved to enhance over all well-being in every capacity of the child's environment. Always stemming from a strength-based perspective, using play therapy, CBT/DBT skills, and family systems as theoretical approaches have proven to provide the best outcomes in healing and growth.
As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your child's true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your child's life. By applying evidence-based therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding your child back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
